Resources and Training

Resources and Information
We offer information, advice and guidance to groups, including support with business planning, policy development, child protection, employment law, inclusion issues, and children's acts. We keep the sector informed about play-related developments through our quarterly newsletters and e-bulletin updates. We also provide on-line resources for groups. To access our web- resources library click here. To become a member and subscribe to our newsletters and e-bulletins click here. We also have a resources library within our offices which we are currently stocking with play equipment and useful information regarding pertinent issues in play. For further information or if you wish to make an appointment to visit our resource library in the office contact us.

Training
We also run free training sessions for members where possible. Our training is designed to improve the quality of play provision. Therefore we can provide tailored training for staff and committee members of play organisations dependant on needs (such as buiness planning, roles and responsibilities of committee members, fundraising). We can also publicise training that other organisations are delivering. If you are running a course and would like it to feature in our events calendar please contact us. For dates of our training and other organisations' training see our events calendar. For detailed information on the latest training available click here.
